Professional Experience

Ms. Romero is an associate in the Business Department of the Albuquerque office. Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of real estate and land use. As a former real estate broker, Ms. Romero utilizes her extensive professional experience to complement her legal practice.

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Romero received the ALI-ABA Award for an Extraordinary Combination of Scholarship and Leadership, as well as a Dean’s Award and Clinical Honors Award. Ms. Romero is also a recipient of the Don G. McCormick Prize in Legal Research and Writing for her paper Killing With Kindness. Ms. Romero has served on numerous civic and professional boards and committees and was personally recognized for her volunteer service in Family Circle magazine, Nov 1996.
