Professional Experience
Mr. Gordon is a Director in the Albuquerque office and the Chairman of the Litigation Department. He is a certified specialist in Civil Trials and in Employment and Labor Law.
Since 1986, Mr. Gordon has been the first chair trial attorney in numerous jury trials and bench trials including the trials of discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract and personal injury claims. He is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate. He is certified by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Civil Trials and in Employment and Labor Law. He is an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law where he teaches Pretrial Practice. He also serves on the faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Gordon also has experience in training managers and teaching seminars on a variety of employment-related topics including the avoidance of wrongful discharge and discrimination litigation. Mr. Gordon is listed in Chambers & Partners- America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2004) (2005) (2006) (2007) (2008) (2009) and (2010) as an employment specialist. In his 2008 listing in Chambers, Mr. Gordon is given a #1 ranking in Labor and Employment Law. Since 2004, Mr. Gordon has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his expertise in Employment and Labor Law and Commercial Litigation.
