Professional Experience
Mr. Lasater is a director in the Albuquerque office. His professional experience is in health law and litigation. His specialty is in litigating professional and managed care liability claims and a wide variety of other health care issues.
Mr. Lasater’s clients include HMOs, hospitals, physicians and other health care providers. He renders advice to clients in such areas as bioethics, products liability, risk management and credentialing. He currently serves on the Medical-Legal Liaison Committee and the New Mexico Medical Review Commission. Mr. Lasater has lectured on many health law topics including "Legal Aspects of Perinatal Medicine", "Legal Conundrums of Cancer Screening", EMTALA, Stark and antikickback issues.
Mr. Lasater has achieved the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating.
