Professional Experience
Mr. Gordon practices in the Litigation Department in the firm’s Santa Fe office. He has a special interest in the defense of medical negligence claims, constitutional law, and appellate practice.
From 1984 through 1985, Mr. Gordon served as law clerk to United States Circuit Judge Oliver Seth of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Since then, Mr. Gordon has been in private practice in Santa Fe. He has significant litigation and appellate experience in both state and federal courts in the defense of medical negligence and personal injury claims, as well as in commercial litigation involving real estate, construction, and insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Gordon also has represented the State of New Mexico on several occasions as Special Assistant Attorney General.
Mr. Gordon has achieved the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating.
