Representative Matters: Real Estate


Representing Diamond Tail Estates I, L.L.C., in zoning, subdividing and developing its second phase of its Diamond Tail Estates residential community and on other ongoing real estate matters.


 


Represented the University of New Mexico in connection with the exchange of land with the New Mexico State Land Office to assemble a parcel in Mesa Del Sol for sale to Forest City Covington for the development of a Master Plan mixed-use community.

 


Represented the University of New Mexico in condemnation proceedings in which the City of Albuquerque sought to acquire additional land for airport expansion.

 


Represented Prudential Insurance Company of America and Winrock Shopping Center in obtaining land use approvals and related litigation pertaining to the redevelopment of Winrock Shopping Center.

 


Represented Central New Mexico Community College in a land acquisition from the New Mexico State Land Office and in a simultaneous acquisition of land from the University of New Mexico in an assemblage for the establishment of the Central New Mexcio Community College Rio Rancho campus.

 


Represented CNM in a three-way real estate exchange with the City of Albuquerque and Albuquerque Public Schools. The exchange resulted in our client obtaining land for a new academic building. The public school system, a party in the exchange, obtained land on the west side of Albuquerque; and the city will lease the public school land for a new community recreational facility on the west side of Albuquerque.

 


Represented Black Hills Corporation, Inc., in purchasing property in Valencia County, New Mexico, for the development of an electrical generation power plant.
