The Rodey Law Firm has unique capabilities in professional liability defense in New Mexico. We have a long-standing Professional Liability Practice Group of experienced litigators who deal exclusively with professional malpractice, disciplinary, and ethics litigation and consultation. We represent lawyers, accountants, real estate brokers, engineers, insurance agents and other non-medical professionals. We are similarly experienced in insurance coverage representation in these areas.

The Professional Liability Practice Group served for a number of years as primary defense counsel in New Mexico for the Home Insurance Company, which traditionally insured the majority of the New Mexico bar. With the demise of Home, we now represent the insureds of Coregis, CNA, Safeco, DPIC, ALPS and Lawyers Protector Plan. We have successfully represented professional malpractice defendants in courts and disciplinary proceedings throughout the state. We believe that our familiarity with professional liability issues coupled with our skill as litigators and our long-time experience in this unique area enables us to provide our clients with cost effective representation in even the most complex matters.
