University and Education
Our University and Education group provides full-service legal representation to our educational clients. We are general counsel to New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, a doctoral-degree granting state university emphasizing scientific and engineering education, and Central New Mexico Community College, New Mexico's largest and most comprehensive community college. We also represent University of New Mexico, which has in-house general counsel, on many matters.
Rodey lawyers also represent charter schools in all areas of public school law, including special education, School Personnel Act, school financial compliance, charter school facilities issues and all matters related to charter drafting and defending, from application through revocation and the appeal process.
Rodey lawyers regularly advise our educational clients on governance issues, open meeting requirements, faculty, staff and student personnel matters, contracting and procurement, real estate, oil and gas, water rights, and litigation. |
