Mr. Coronel is an Associate in the Albuquerque office. He practices in the Litigation Department with the Products and General Liability and Health Law and Medical Malpractice Defense practice groups.
During law school, Mr. Coronel was a Professional Articles Editor of the New Mexico Law Review. He also was a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association moot court team. Mr. Coronel served as the Founding President of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association Student Chapter and as the Senior Legal Writing Tutor for the University of New Mexico School of Law’s Legal Analysis and Communication Program. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Coronel received the Margaret Keiper Dailey Award for demonstrating an awareness for social problems, concern for people in trouble, and professional dedication to equal justice for all.
Mr. Coronel serves on the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association’s Board of Directors. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he coaches the law school’s Hispanic National Bar Association moot court team.
Mr. Coronel has earned the designation of “Rising Star” in the 2021 and 2022 editions of Southwest Super Lawyers for his experience and expertise in product liability defense.
Mr. Coronel is also recognized in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for his experience and expertise in Health Care and Medical Malpractice Defense.
