Theresa W. Parrish

Ms. Parrish is a director in the Albuquerque office. She served on the firm’s Executive Committee for many years, and has served as chair of the Recruiting Committee, and the Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee. She practices in the Litigation Department with an emphasis on employment law and litigation, complex and high risk litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation including catastrophic injuries. She has significant jury and non-jury trial experience. She also has extensive experience in resolving claims through alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration. She has presented oral argument in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Parrish was named Albuquerque Employment Law-Management Lawyer of the Year for 2013 and 2020 by Best Lawyers in America. Ms. Parrish was also named Albuquerque Litigation-Real Estate Lawyer of the Year-2016, Albuquerque Litigation – Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year-2017 and Albuquerque Litigation – Real Estate Lawyer of the Year-2018 and 2021 by Best Lawyers in America.

Ms. Parrish has defended corporate and individual clients in complex litigation matters including individual and class actions in the state and federal courts. She also has handled commercial, personal injury, estate and trust, medical malpractice and professional liability litigation. She completed mediator training in 2013 at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law, and conducts mediations of employment law matters.
