Mr. Baca is an associate attorney in the Albuquerque Office assigned to our Litigation Group and works in medical malpractice and complex commercial litigation. During law school, Mr. Baca gained valuable experience as a summer associate with firms in New York and Albuquerque. His work included drafting motions and mediation materials, preparing litigation memoranda, reviewing and drafting contracts, and assisting in hearings and negotiations. He also supported transactional teams by preparing side letters, summarizing partnership agreements, and shadowing mergers and acquisitions. At Harvard Law School, Baca was the president of First Class, a student organization for first generation college students, and he was a senior article editor for the Harvard Latin American Law Review.
Before entering law school, Mr. Baca served in a variety of public service and government roles. He assisted constituents on federal and state matters as a congressional staff assistant, conducted legal and policy research with a state attorney general’s office, and supported legislative efforts through internships with both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.
