Mr. Taylor is a Director in the Albuquerque office. He is a member of the Litigation Department, primarily with the Products and General Liability Practice Group.
While in law school, Mr. Taylor served as the Managing Editor of the New Mexico Law Review and competed on the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition moot court team, which achieved a regional Best Brief Award. He also won the 2015 Raymond W. Schowers Prize for excellence in constitutional law writing. Mr. Taylor obtained significant practical experience in New Mexico government, having worked at the New Mexico Legislative Council Service, externed with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, and interned at the New Mexico Court of Appeals for the Honorable Jonathan B. Sutin.
Following law school, Mr. Taylor clerked for the Honorable Carmen E. Garza, Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Mexico. Mr. Taylor currently serves on the Young Lawyers Division Board as Director-At-Large, Position 5, and is Vice Chair of the Board. Mr. Taylor also serves on the Appellate Practice Section and Trial Practice Section Boards.
