Richard C. Minzner

Mr. Minzner is Of Counsel in the Albuquerque office. He practices in the Litigation and Business Departments. His practice involves lobbying and other representation of clients before state and local governmental bodies, state taxation matters and commercial litigation.

His government relations practice has included a broad range of clients in the areas of mining, oil and gas, insurance, renewable energy, health care, education and real estate development.

Mr. Minzner served ten years in the New Mexico House of Representatives, including service as the Majority Floor Leader and Chairman of the Taxation and Revenue Committee. He also served four years as Cabinet Secretary for the Department of Taxation and Revenue. He has a national reputation among state tax administrators, having served on the Board of Trustees of the nationwide Federation of Tax Administrators and as Treasurer of the Multistate Tax Commission. He has been active in the Association of Commerce and Industry and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.
