Mr. Holst is an Associate attorney in the Albuquerque Office assigned to the Professional Liability Practice Group. Mr. Holst served as an Assistant Attorney General with the New Mexico Department of Justice, where he focused on consumer protection and antitrust matters. In this role, Mr. Holst investigated complex legal issues, drafted court filings, and advised on litigation strategies that supported the department’s efforts to uphold fair market practices and protect consumers across the state.
Before joining the New Mexico DOJ, Mr. Holst gained diverse legal experience across both the public and private sectors. As a Student Attorney with the Washington University Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic, he worked on environmental enforcement matters in the Midwest. Additional legal experience includes externing for the Honorable Jason Dodson in St. Louis on juvenile law issues, interning with the Missouri State Public Defender, and supporting rural housing initiatives at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Mr. Holst brings a multidisciplinary and solutions-focused approach to his legal practice, rooted in a commitment to public service and justice.
