  • Representation of Pitchfork Cattle Company LLC in its sale of an approximately 35,000-acre ranch located in southeast New Mexico.
  • Representation of Diamond Tail Estates I, LLC, in its sale of the membership interest of the entity, including all rights and interests of the entity as the developer and declarant of Diamond Tail Estates with respect to Phases I and II of the Diamond Tail Estates master planned community located near the Village of Placitas in Sandoval County, New Mexico.
  • Representation of GBT Realty Corporation in various financings, purchases, sales and in development of dollar store properties throughout New Mexico
  • Representation of Louisiana Energy Services regarding acquisition of mineral interests and various other matters.
  • Representation of Harbert Power in the acquisition of New Mexico gas-generated electrical plant, one in a portfolio acquisition.
  • Representation of Alltech, Inc. with real estate issues in connection with a multi-state acquisition that included New Mexico property.
  • Representation of Greater Kudu LLC, a Facebook subsidiary, in its development of a Facebook data center in the Village of Los Lunas, New Mexico, including acquisition of land, resolution of land use, title, tax, environmental and financing matters, issuance of industrial revenue bonds, preparation of development agreements, and the filing of a quiet title action.
  • Representation of New Mexico Development Partners, LP in its sale of Water Rights to the City of Rio Rancho.
  • Representation of the University of New Mexico in ground lease negotiations with Fairmount Properties, LLC for a development of a mixed-use retail focused project on the University’s South Campus.
  • Representation of an international technology development company in its possible acquisition of vacant property to develop and operate an integrated technology testing and evaluation center.
  • Representation of Roberts Oil Company, Inc. in its sale of gas stations and other real estate in the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
  • Representation of the University of New Mexico in ground lease negotiations with American Campus Communities for the development of student housing on the University’s Main Campus.
  • Representation of the University of New Mexico in a land exchange with the City of Albuquerque for the purpose of the City constructing and operating a fire station on the University’s South Campus and for the University establishing a community-based outpatient health clinic in the North Valley.
  • Representation of the University of New Mexico in connection with a ground lease between the University and American Campus Communities for the development of a student community on the University’s South Campus.
  • Representation of the University of New Mexico in connection with the exchange of land with the New Mexico State Land Office to assemble a parcel in Mesa Del Sol for sale to Forest City Covington for the development of a Master Plan mixed-use community.
  • Representation of Prudential Insurance Company of America and Winrock Shopping Center in obtaining land use approvals and related litigation pertaining to the redevelopment of Winrock Shopping Center.
  • Representation of Central New Mexico Community College in a purchase of commercial property located in Albuquerque, New Mexico for future trade and vocational training programs. The transaction also involved a lease negotiation with the existing tenant of the commercial property.
  • Representation of Central New Mexico Community College in a land acquisition from the New Mexico State Land Office and in a simultaneous acquisition of land from the University of New Mexico in an assemblage for the establishment of the Central New Mexico Community College Rio Rancho campus.
  • Representation of Central New Mexico Community College in a three-way real estate exchange with the City of Albuquerque and Albuquerque Public Schools. The exchange resulted in our client obtaining land for a new academic building. The public school system, a party in the exchange, obtained land on the west side of Albuquerque; and the city will lease the public school land for a new community recreational facility on the west side of Albuquerque.
  • Representation of Central New Mexico Community College in two vacant land acquisitions near and adjacent to Central New Mexico Community College’s Workforce Training Center.
  • Representation of Black Hills Corporation, Inc., in purchasing property in Valencia County, New Mexico, for the development of an electrical generation power plant.
