Mr. Efaw brings over three decades of legal and leadership experience from a career that spans military service, high-stakes civil litigation, and international public service.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Efaw was a Partner at a well-known firm in Denver, where he spent more than 20 years defending Fortune 100 companies and other clients in complex, high-exposure civil litigation across the country. Known for his commanding courtroom presence and strategic trial approach, he tried cases to verdict in jurisdictions nationwide and was a frequent speaker on litigation tactics.
In addition to private practice, Mr. Efaw served in the U.S. Army for nearly three decades, including active duty and reserve service. His legal career began in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he handled more than 30 trials as Senior Trial Counsel. Later, Mr. Efaw served as a Military Judge, presiding over courts-martial across the United States and overseas. He deployed multiple times, including to Iraq and Afghanistan, and retired with the rank of Colonel.
Mr. Efaw’s career reflects a commitment to service, excellence, and advocacy at the highest levels—qualities he continues to bring to his legal practice today.
