B. W. Stone

B.W. Stone is a Director in the Albuquerque office. He is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. His practice is currently focused on products and general liability defense. A licensed Air Transport Pilot, he takes particular interest in aviation law, and has represented a variety of aviation businesses.

Prior to joining the Rodey Law Firm, Mr. Stone’s experience included extensive trial practice, primarily as a criminal defense attorney. He secured outright exoneration for nine clients acquitted by jury, and obtained favorable outcomes via dismissal of thousands of unfounded charges. He has also litigated a wide variety of civil matters, from property disputes to business and contract disputes and defense of health-care providers such as doctors, nursing homes, and assisted-living facilities. He is authorized to practice in all New Mexico courts and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Stone, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, served ten years as an active duty U.S. Navy fighter pilot, and an additional six years as a reservist.
