Receptionist – Albuquerque, NM
Rodey Law Firm is seeking a reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Executive Receptionist to manage the Firm’s front desk reception area. This role plays a vital part in creating a professional and welcoming first impression for clients, visitors, vendors, and callers.
The Executive Receptionist is the first point of contact for the firm. This role is responsible for managing a high-volume, multi-line phone system, greeting guests, coordinating food orders for internal meetings, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is polished, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
- Operate and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system; accurately route calls and take messages
- Coordinate all food ordering and catering needs for internal meetings and firm events
- Maintain reception area appearance and ensure a welcoming environment
- Coordinate conference room reservations and visitor check-in
- Maintains Board Room appearance
- Accept and distribute mail, deliveries, and courier packages
- Assist with basic administrative tasks (data entry, scanning, filing)
- Support attorneys and staff with general office needs as requested
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (law firm or professional services environment a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, basic Excel)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate office setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience coordinating food orders, catering, or office events
Schedule
8 hour shift | On-site | Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
